iNAP Lab+ Helpful Tips
Android:
Nearby device permission must be turned on. This can be done by following these steps
- Open your phone settings
- Go to apps and notifications, select iNAP+
- Tap on permissions, then tap on location
- Select “All The Time”
- Go back to app permissions, tap on nearby devices
- Select “Allow”
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on (a prompt should appear if Bluetooth is not enabled)
iPhone:
Make sure your iPhone has the latest software installed. This can be done by following these steps
- Go to settings
- General
- Software update
- If a newer version is available “Download and Install”
Make sure Bluetooth is turned on both on your phone and under the app on iPhone (a prompt should appear if Bluetooth is not enabled) This can be done by
- Go to settings
- Scroll down to iNAP Lab+ app
- Location set to “while using”
- Bluetooth toggle on
- Cellular Data toggle on
If pairing still doesn't work
Make sure iNAP is turned on (you can hear the pump; the blue light flashes)
Make sure iNAP is close to your phone (not more than 10 feet between devices)
If after clicking "search for device" the app doesn't pair, do the following steps:
1. Turn off iNAP
2. Push the iNAP button for at least 10 seconds, until a full on/off cycle is complete. Do not release the button during this cycle.
3. Reboot your phone ( shut it down completely, don't just go on sleep mode) and then turn your phone on again. Make sure bluetooth is activated.
4. Perform the pairing process again
